Millionaire Matches
As host of Bravo's new reality series The Millionaire Matchmaker, PATTI STANGER helps wealthy men find the women of their dreams. The show is based on the Millionaire's Club, the elite matchmaking service Stanger formed in 2000. A third-generation matchmaker, Stanger was previously the director of marketing for Great Expectations, the largest and oldest matchmaking service in the United States. The Millionaire Matchmaker airs on Bravo (Channel 70 on Comcast) at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays.:
Stanger answers Julep's Four Questions.
1. What book, movie, TV show or other medium are you dying to share and why?
The Oprah Winfrey Show, because Oprah gets it and is the "ah-ha" woman. She's also a philanthropist and wants to help humanity.
2. If you could have lunch with one biblical or historical Jewish figure, who would it be and why?
Golda Meir — she epitomizes strength, she's a humanitarian and is one of the greatest leaders of all time. She got the job done when nobody else did. She built that country from nothing.
3. What is your favorite Jewish food?
A tie between noodle kugel and kasha varnishkes.
4. Nu? (So?)
I think Jewish women need to expand their horizons and not just use JDate as their only source of finding love. Stop using it as the holy grail — there are other mediums to find your true love.
