Wendy Lynne Armstrong is a commercial real estate professional in her 30s. We think she is Such a Catch. Wendy tells Julep a little about herself.

What are you looking for in a mate?

Any SJM over the age of 30 —hair optional (just kidding). OK, you asked. . . . He is my best friend, someone I can be 100 percent myself with and he with me. It is important we have common interests and goals. He is cute, smart, athletic, fun, funny and confident, knows the value of a smile, and is a kid at heart. With him, it feels just as easy to be in his presence and sit in silence as it does going out for a big night on the town. I believe in an instant connection, someone with whom you have both emotional and physical chemistry. He must love or at least act like he likes my dogs. I have two Shih Tzus —we are a package deal.

What are your best qualities?

Everyone tells me my eyes and smile are my best qualities, but I would like to think that my best attribute is my soul. I hope that people would say it is that I am a good friend, a devoted daughter, sister and aunt, and a sincere, gracious, giving, loving person with a good combination of intellect, strength, confidence and humility.

How do you spend your spare time?

I love to run, walk, bike and hike. I volunteer at Northside Hospital for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and am active in the National Council of Jewish Women. I regularly attend Shabbat services, and I feel there is no substitute for a big Shabbos meal with family and friends.

What is your guilty pleasure?

I have quite a few. Belly dancing —love it! Take classes several times a week. I am not quite to the public performance level, and I thought I should throw that out there before someone asks for a demonstration. I cannot go too long without ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt or frozen custard —any will do. I like to relax with a glass of wine. Lastly, I enjoy an afternoon nap (clarification in case my boss is reading this —during the weekends only).

Etc.?

I recently relocated to Atlanta from St. Louis (my hometown) for my job. I am very excited to be here and am looking forward to meeting more new friends. I have already learned what it means to be "ITP vs. OTP"; I can get around Atlanta without a navigation system; and I ran the Peachtree Road Race this July.
