Andrea Appel, 39, has operated a home interiors shop with her mother for the past 15 years, but she is looking to make a career change. We think that she is Such a Catch. Andrea tells Julep a little about herself:

1. What are you looking for in a mate?

Good conversation, intelligence, thoughtfulness, compassion and an appreciation of furry children!

2. What are your best qualities?

Sense of humor, good-natured, easygoing.

3. How do you spend your spare time?

Working out, being with family and friends, going to the movies, reading and just hanging out with my three dogs.

4. What is your guilty pleasure?

Jeans.

5. Etc.

I'm a native of Atlanta — and, the thought of living somewhere else has crossed my mind — but, I like having my family close by. I worked with my mother for 15 years — we had a beautiful home interiors shop. She retired this summer and I am looking to change careers. Among the things that I am passionate about are Jewish education and animal welfare. I am hoping to find my place in professional fundraising for either or both.
