Heather Corin, 30, is a research analyst who has lived in Atlanta for six years and who spends her time volunteering with Interact, the young professionals volunteer corps of Jewish Family & Career Services, and Access, the young adult division of the American Jewish Committee. We think she's Such a Catch. Heather tells Julep a little about herself.

What are you looking for in a mate?

I am looking for someone who has a good head on their shoulders. Someone who is a forward thinker, honest, goal-oriented and, most importantly, someone who can make me laugh and keep up with my sarcasm. For the most part, I am very laid-back, so I would want a mate who isn't stressed all day every day and can balance their professional and personal lives. I really enjoy doing things for others, so it is important that my mate likes to volunteer and do things for others as well as for themselves.

What are your best qualities?

Friends and family know that I have a huge heart and am always willing to go the extra distance to help someone in need. I am a very caring individual who likes to see others happy and do my best to cheer up others when they are down. I love and value that I am trusted as the go-to person for good advice, a shoulder to cry on, and the person that my loved ones call on. I am genuine and honest and believe that good things happen to good people.

How do you spend your spare time?

I enjoy running, watching foreign films, going to comedy shows/musicals, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering. I also enjoy spending time outside on beautiful days!

What is your guilty pleasure?

Food: No. 1 guilty pleasure — ice cream. I absolutely love it in any season! A close second is chocolate chip-cookies. You will always find these two staples in my home. And we can't leave out pizza — thin crust, deep dish, the more cheese the better. TV-wise, I love a great episode of Nip/Tuck.

I am a people person who loves to spend time with others and am looking for a mate that shares the same quality. As people, we are evolving individuals, and I am looking for someone with whom we can learn from each other and grow in ways we never thought were possible.
