Bela Jacobson, 24, is an engineer in Norcross. We think she's Such a Catch. Bela tells Julep a little about herself.

What are you looking for in a mate?

I am looking for someone who is kind, smart, funny and confident. But, of course, who isn't? So I guess I should be more specific. I am looking for someone who is goal-oriented and ambitious. It helps if he laughs at my corny jokes. I am looking for someone who is willing to try new things even if he is positive he'd be bad at it. Someone who is as confident walking into a formal event and having an intellectual conversation as he is going to a football game and talking about the latest standings. I am looking for someone who enjoys having Shabbat dinners with family and friends. And of course, someone who agrees with my mom that I'm the best catch in Atlanta.

What are your best qualities?

I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh (even if it is often at me). I take initiative and get things done. I am very outgoing, creative, have a positive outlook on life and am always up for trying something new.

How do you spend your spare time?

I like running, going swing dancing, hosting parties and Shabbat dinners, going to football games and relaxing by the pool. I enjoy cooking, I like baking, and I love eating. Also, I really enjoy traveling to new countries and jump at the opportunity when I have the time.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Every once in a while, I love spending an entire day being completely unproductive for a change — watching some bad TV movies or chick flicks, catching up with friends and cooking some good food.

I am 24, grew up here in Atlanta and work for an engineering consulting firm in Norcross. I love my life, friends and my job, and that my family is so close.
