Girls' Day Out
Print
Cami Mitelman has a day of fun with her three daughters, Laurel, 8, Lainey, 5, and Allie, 4.
Mothers, daughters and their dolls alike gathered Aug. 19 at the Alpharetta Marriott for the Marcus JCC's Girls & Dolls spectacular. Participants, with dolls in tow, strutted the runway modeling the latest fashions from Cayenne, the event's clothing sponsor. Vendors offered accessories, clothing, makeup and books, while attendees also enjoyed craft stations, nail painting and mother/daughter photos. There was even a day care for girls to leave their dolls at while they took part in the fun.

Judy Jacobs and daughter Sara, 3, work on decorating photo frames.
Sydney Grunwald, 12, perfects the nail polish on a girl visiting the mini-manicure station.
Shanna Gerson, JCC North Metro program coordinator, helps girls and their moms pick up gift bags on the way out of the event.
