Georgia O'Keeffe at the High. The High Museum of Art continues its hot streak with an exhibition on the work of Georgia O'Keeffe and her predecessors. Georgia O'Keeffe and the Women of the Stieglitz Circle places O'Keeffe's work in the context of the female artists in the circle of her husband, photographer Alfred Stieglitz, who paved the way for her modern feminine themes. The exhibit features some 90 pieces by O'Keeffe and other painters and photographers, including Stieglitz, and runs through May 4. It follows on the heels of Inspiring Impressionism, which likewise explored artists in the context of those who inspired them.

California Pizza Kitchen in Marietta. The gourmet pizza, salad and pasta chain has opened a location at the corner of Johnson Ferry and Roswell roads in Marietta's Pine Straw, which is also home to a Trader Joe's. The menu features all of the favorites in addition to new items like the Miso Salad, a tomato-and-basil pizza and a three-layer red velvet cake. In the company's tradition of giving back to the communities in which it operates, on Feb. 28 it donated 100 percent of proceeds from dine-in pizza sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia and Alabama, which has its headquarters in Marietta.

Cruising in Southeast Asia. Ask the seasoned traveler to name the top destination on the list of "must-sees," and Southeast Asia will likely be named as the most compelling place to go. Southeast Asia offers a glimpse of the extraordinary, a rich experience of cultures and landmarks rarely seen by Westerners. And with the dollar continuing its downward trend against the euro, many savvy travelers are finding greater value for the money in the Eastern Hemisphere. Many of the world's top hotels and resorts are in the exotic cities of East and are often offered at a fraction of the cost of comparable hotels in Europe. The best itineraries will take you to Shanghai, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand. Add a pre- or post-cruise tour to see the Great Wall in Beijing or Angkor Wat in Cambodia — the most extraordinary ancient temple monument in the world. Plan your trip as much as a year in advance because the best cruises sell out quickly. While land trips can be planned year-round, cruises visit Southeast Asia only from October through March. Cruise lines include Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Seabourn, Silversea, Princess and Royal Caribbean. Susan Ward, owner of CruiseOne in Roswell, specializes in planning cruises with tailor-made shore excursions and distinctive land itineraries.
